Not sure.Īnd talking about Ikiteru, he is a really an unfunny and bland character, having the only characteristic of his be his silliness. He is smart to an extent and also a person who acts quickly when required, not to mention his caring for Ikiteru (?). It's clearly shown, as though he might show uninterest in Usahara he still is seen with him in every scene. While seeming a little mean at times he actually may be the kindest of the crew. Komatani is by far the best character in the show. He has these moments where he feels genuine, and he also has moments where he feels unlikable. Uramichi seems like an intersting character, but he was never fleshed out in the anime enough. It offered such nice and funny comedy but also ending the episode with a serious scene where Komatani talks about the incident where he punched his superior.Īnd this was the only episode that made wanna click the next episode button.Īnother reason for this episode being the best is that it focused on the best character in this show which was Komatani.Īnd talking about the characters, oh boy, what a disaster. It's the fact that the anime was able to do all of what I mentioned in a certain episode, episode 10. Some other examples of such jokes that were repeated to the point of being mood-killing at times are Ikiteru thinking of rice balls or having a crass sense of humor and Usahara trying to pursue the girls yet only getting Capellini (I swear to god I'm not going to describe this character because I'm not American and I don't know what dear Americans might do if they thought I was being offensive to someone). I'm pretty sure the author or whoever it was noticed how this joke was that bad that it was almost never used in the second half of the anime. Uramichi who's a character that we're supposed to feel for, feels so mean to another character for being a little stupid but clearly kind hearted and not ill-intentioned. Like that joke about Uramichi venting his anger on Usahara, it can be funny for the first or second time but then it becomes downright bullying! Not to mention that some of the jokes made the characters feel so unlikable. Imagine if you went to a comedy show where the comedian just keeps telling the same jokes, it'd be like Hella boring! The reason for that which I don't understand, is how much a lot of jokes are repeated. I do not deny that it managed to make me laugh at times, but it was a 13 episodes anime that maybe managed to make me laugh 10 times. Well I'd like to say it was so mediocre, like the most mediocre thing you can imagine. It has such a serious aura that screams at you telling you something's gonna happen.Īlright alright, maybe the anime failed this side but what about the comedy? It's those particular scenes in the anime, when Uramichi is smoking or a character is being serious, and it's that ED.Īnd talking about the ED which was on of the best EDs I've listened to and one of the biggest lies I was told. It does not offer characters (especially Uramichi) that have a somewhat seemingly sad past.Īgain, I'm not the one who came up with this. If a show wants to be comedy only, it tells it's fans directly. It's not me who came with these ideas, it's the anime itself. Now some might say that I should not criticize the way the anime goes with, as it presents itself from the start as a comedy show. Is it broken dreams? Is it the expectations of society? Is it personal failings?īut the show ditches all that and focuses only on the comedy, a not funny comedy by the way. Not to mention also at the same time tackling the issues that the MCs struggle with. You can make like thousands of funny scenarios of this! The anime follows the daily life of a group of adults (mainly Uramichi) whom all work in a kid's show drawing smiles on their faces, but are actually individuals with a lot of stress in life. Starting with the story and why I think it's wasted, The main idea of the show, the story, is interesting.īut like a lot of shows, it was so wasted to the point where I might argue that it's one of the most wasted stories I've ever seen.Īnother good thing about this anime is some of it's characters which we'll be talking about later. The reason I'm writing this review that I actually did not intend to write is because of how shocked I was to see no reviews criticizing the show and it's many flaws.įirst quickly let's talk about the good aspects. Demonstration of Mark Rober's glitter bomb He sold the company to UK-based costume company Morphsuits in 2013. The costumes were widely featured on news channels such as CBS News, CNN, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Fox, Yahoo! News, Discovery Channel, The Today Show and GMA. The company took in $250,000 in revenue in its first three weeks of operations, and by 2013 his app-integrated costumes were sold in retail stores such as Party City. The following year, Rober launched Digital Dudz, an online Halloween costume company that specializes in Halloween costumes based on the same concept as the video (to which Rober holds the patent). His video of the "gaping hole in torso" costume went viral, receiving 1.5 million views in one day. It shows a Halloween costume that used two iPads to create the illusion of seeing through his body. In October 2011, Rober recorded his first YouTube video. He also advocates for science in many of his videos. His videos cover a wide variety of topics, sparking ideas for April Fools' Day pranks and teaching about beating an escape room and filming primates in zoos non-invasively. While at NASA, Rober began making viral videos. He published a case study about applying wiki technology in a high-tech organization to develop an "Intrapedia" for the capture of corporate knowledge. While at NASA, Rober was one of the primary architects for "JPL Wired", which was a comprehensive knowledge capture wiki. He designed and delivered hardware on several JPL missions, including AMT, GRAIL, SMAP, and Mars Science Laboratory. He worked there for nine years, seven of which were spent working on the Curiosity rover, which is now on Mars. Rober joined NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in 2004. Rober earned a mechanical engineering degree from Brigham Young University as well as a master's degree from the University of Southern California. He became interested in engineering at a young age, making a pair of goggles that helped avoid tears while cutting onions. He graduated from Brea Olinda High School in 1998. Rober was raised in Brea, California, the youngest of three siblings. as a product designer in their Special Projects Group, where he authored patents involving virtual reality in self-driving cars. He later worked for four years at Apple Inc. Before he became a YouTuber, Rober was an engineer with NASA for nine years, where he spent seven years working on the Curiosity rover at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He is known for his YouTube videos on popular science and do-it-yourself gadgets. Mark Rober (born Ma ) is an American YouTuber, engineer, inventor, and educator. Because of the vertical angles theorem, angle 4 and 8 and also measure 123°. What does that tell you about the lines cut by the transversal?Īnd now, the answers (try your best first!):Īngle 5 also measures 123°. You learn that corresponding angles are not congruent. Imagine a transversal cutting across two lines. If two corresponding angles of a transversal across parallel lines are right angles, what do you know about the figure?Ĭan you possibly draw parallel lines with a transversal that creates a pair of corresponding angles, each measuring 181°? You can use the Corresponding Angles Theorem even without a drawing. Looking at our BOLD MATH figure again, and thinking of the Corresponding Angles Theorem, if you know that angle 1 measures 123°, what other angle must have the same measure? If the lines cut by the transversal are not parallel, then the corresponding angles are not equal. Since the corresponding angles are shown to be congruent, you know that the two lines cut by the transversal are parallel. If you are given a figure similar to our figure below, but with only two angles labeled, can you determine anything by it? Converse of corresponding angles theorem The converse theorem allows you to evaluate a figure quickly. If a transversal cuts two lines and their corresponding angles are congruent, then the two lines are parallel. The converse of the Corresponding Angles Theorem is also interesting: They share a vertex and are opposite each other. The angles to either side of our 57° angle – the adjacent angles – are obtuse. If you have a two parallel lines cut by a transversal, and one angle ( angle 2) is labeled 57°, making it acute, our theorem tells us that there are three other acute angles are formed. Properties of lines known from corresponding angles theorem If one is a right angle, all are right anglesĪll eight angles can be classified as adjacent angles, vertical angles, and corresponding angles Corresponding angles theoremīecause of the Corresponding Angles Theorem, you already know several things about the eight angles created by the three lines: The Corresponding Angles Postulate is simple, but it packs a punch because, with it, you can establish relationships for all eight angles of the figure. If a transversal cuts two parallel lines, their corresponding angles are congruent. The Corresponding Angles Theorem says that: When a transversal line crosses two lines, eight angles are formed. Here are the four pairs of corresponding angles: Can you find all four corresponding pairs of angles? What are corresponding angles Which angles are corresponding angles?Ĭan you find the corresponding angle for angle 2 in our figure? Identifying corresponding angles exampleĭid you notice angle 6 corresponds to angle 2 ? They are a pair of corresponding angles. They do not touch, so they can never be consecutive interior angles. You can have alternate interior angles and alternate exterior angles.Ĭorresponding angles are never adjacent angles. Angles that are on the opposite side of the transversal are called alternate angles. Corresponding angles and transversal explainedĬorresponding angles are just one type of angle pair. One is an exterior angle (outside the parallel lines), and one is an interior angle (inside the parallel lines). Two angles correspond or relate to each other by being on the same side of the transversal. I'm just looking for close enough to play on MAME and feel somewhat authentic (and not pay through the nose). I'm sure that's the case for a true 1 to 1 reproduction, but I'm not looking for 100% repro. I've read some posts saying you can't use a skate wheel because it's not sized correctly. The next one I make will be the Beta model. I'm currently testing this one now and making notes on what to improve. This is just a prototype, and it has a few issues, but it's enough of a start for me to know this will work. After some 3D layout work (and some hours on printing) I came up with this: Using what I learned from making my Cyclone Controller, I decide to use a mouse PCB to track the roller. I'm okay with that if the price is right. Yes, I know that by using a wheel (because of the hubs) It can never back light them. I found these skateboard wheels (70 mm dia. With this as my best guess based on the couple images I found I worked up a sketch and then went looking for a reasonable looking roller. If my dimensions are way off, please let me know. Using that picture (which still wasn't 100%) I guessed on the dimensions. He showed a template for cutting a hole for these roller controllers. I then stumbled on website of someone rebuilding a Major Havoc. I had a hard time finding dimension for the controller. My ThinCades are always done on the budget, so this controller had to be on one as well. After doing a search to try to find a controller like that, I was shocked at the cost of just the controller! After finding some good photos of the controller itself, I decided to take a stab at building one. The cabinet that I played it on did have the memorable roller controller. Of course I remember playing Major Havoc back in the arcades very briefly, but I remember thinking what a great game. In doing so, I try to decide if the control scheme is doable. Well, I'm always looking into different ThinCades that I might want to build. What Is a Blotter?Īfter becoming illegal, LSD continued to be distributed through underground channels. And its presentation was as unique as the users themselves, inspired by a generation of artists. As the hallmark drug of the ’60, LSD was the perfect accoutrement for all hippies and beatniks, psychonauts and explorers. It was the way LSD looked that also changed the experience in a way. The method of transportation and consumption wasn’t the only creative element. It wasn’t just a drug-it was an entire, often inexplicable experience. But in an era amplified by hippie culture, flower power and freedom of expression, the creation of LSD blotter art solidified the cultural significance of this potent psychedelic. Originally, LSD was packaged into pills, or the liquid was dropped onto sugar cubes. Instead, people were finding creative ways to consume this psychedelic drug. Many other states and countries soon followed suit. government first banned the use of LSD in California in 1966. And what is more fashionable than a mind-altering substance served up on a beautiful piece of art? Thus, LSD blotter art was born. Few drugs have become as synonymous with a psychedelic trip as LSD, which is commonly referred to as “acid.” Having made its imprint on music, art and culture worldwide, LSD was here to stay. Like many substances, LSD was born in a laboratory and made its way to the public for recreational use. Then free samples that Sandoz Pharmaceuticals distributed to the public largely grew the user base of this fascinating drug. But researchers did not uncover the ideal medical use for this psychedelic substance. Army and the CIA experimented with LSD as a truth serum for interrogation. He intended to create a blood stimulant and didn’t realize the hallucinogenic effects until 1943, when he accidentally consumed the substance while working in the lab.įor the next couple of decades, psychiatrists used LSD to study behavioral and personality changes and to treat addiction, depression, psychosomatic diseases, and other mental health conditions. Albert Hofmann synthesized lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) while working at Sandoz Pharmaceutical in Basel, Switzerland. It's been possible for some time now to using the Ad-Hoc based local multiplayer functionality of the Sony PSP online using an actual Sony PSP console or PPSSPP. The compatibility list is extensive and supports most games that have the Ad-Hoc feature, but setup is not straight forward. I suggest if you want to utilize this new functionality on the Switch to check out PPSSPP's Ad-Hoc Multiplayer forum. PPSSPP (Standalone Switch Public Beta) is an updated port of the buggy PPSSPP RetroArch core for your homebrew enabled Nintendo Switch hybrid video gaming consoles. PPSSPP is a Sony PlayStation Portable (Sony PSP) portable video gaming console emulator that will allow you to play your collection of Sony PSP games on your Nintendo Switch. M4xw (who is the author of this port) decided to work on a stand alone version instead of improving the flawed RetroArch core, so this is the best way to play PSP games on your Switch. This version of PPSSPP includes with The Homebrew App Store, which will allow you to shop for free homebrew using an Internet connection. It's based on my libretro port with some few distinctions: This is the first Standalone Release for PPSSPP. Includes a GLES2 and GL version (use GLES2 for GTA's or other troubling games, otherwise GL version is always recommended as it's far more stable and bug free). JIT improvements (should now work on all Horizon version), masking is no longer required, thus JIT masking bugs are a thing of the past (will be backported to the libretro ver.
